Brett Godfrey, Virgin Blue CEO Presents Red Jet Donation to MCF
During a special morning tea on Tuesday 3 October 2006, Brett Godfrey, Virgin Blue CEO, presented MCF with their share of proceeds of the Virgin Blue Hangar Ball – a cheque for $100,000.
“As one of the beneficiaries of Red Jet Foundation, the official charity of Virgin Blue, it is with great pleasure I enclose a cheque for $100,000, which is a percentage of the proceeds raised at the Virgin Blue Charity Hangar Ball on 5 August 2006.
The Montessori Children's Foundation was chosen as one of five first year charities of Red Jet due to the' wonderful work your organisation is doing to further the development and education of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Australia.
On behalf of Red Jet, and thanks to the generosity of the Charity Hangar Ball sponsors, supporters and guests, we are so pleased to be able to make this contribution to help The Montessori Children's Foundation continue its good work in providing assistance, support and education to these young Australians.
